The recognition opens new doors for Pólvora and companies looking to leverage one of the top multicultural and digital advertising agencies in the nation. The regional council, GNEMSDC was diligent in the certification, and Pólvora is proud to showcase their heritage, thanks to the New England council.
It’s an exciting time for Pólvora marked by a big win. Not only are we expanding to other coasts, but we were proud to beat out some of the nation’s biggest shops to win Vonage. When it came down to it, it was our deep knowledge of direct response combined with our category knowledge (MetroPCS and Cellular One) that made us the perfect partner.
Disney Baby hired Pólvora because they needed to better connect with the ever-growing Hispanic population. Our team jumped right in—and created several innovative tactics for Disney Baby.
If this was a year of momentum on the new business front, it was also the year of expanding our own. We’re so proud to share that we have brought José A. González into our family as our GM/ Strategic Director & Business Development in our LA office. With over 20 years experience growing and launching brands in the U.S., we knew José was the right man for the job. In our new location, José plans to bring an energetic and creative approach to the team and the business. His past experiences at agencies like Publicis and work on P&G brands, have served as a catalyst for his global view on brands and the ability to resonate locally.

Once again, Pólvora Advertising is proud to be part of Milagros para Niños, benefiting Boston Children's Hospital. This Friday, September 12th, the foundation will host its fifth annual gala to honor some of the doctors that make miracles happen, every day. And for a third consecutive year, our very own Principal and CCO Cristina Bozas will Co-chair the gala. In April our CEO Rudy Bozas picked up his number and headed out on the Boston Marathon route on behalf of Boston Children’s Hospital. As member of the Milagros para Niños advisory council, Rudy felt compelled to go out strong for a great cause.
